Well, 28-years ago, my daughter, who is now 33-years old, married with a daughter herself, asked me the scary question. She was only 5 years old and asked me while driving back from school, “mom, what’s an abortion?”
I almost jumped out of the car! But I could not allow my precious child to sit on the back seat of my car with no driver, as the driver jumped out. So, I stayed in the car and said, “let me think about my answer.”
I had a long and hard think about how I want to start the scary talk about the “birds and the bees” with my innocent and pure young daughter.
